Caniche Editorial has entrusted us to print and bind Mx Ultra – A book by Alaska and Nacho Canut. Publication designed by Naranjo-Etxeberria.

The first thing that strikes us is the stunning cover with its quality finish. When it comes to the content, this comprehensive publication consists of two distinct parts: on the one hand, the part made up of 54 images by Nacho Canut, and, on the other hand, its sister book, with Alaska’s 38 comments on these photographs.

The binding posed a real challenge: how to present, on the one hand, the part of the work dedicated to the texts, and, on the other hand, the part dedicated to the images. The solution: two parts forming a single volume by way of an eye-catching binding… This is a semi-manual, almost artisan, Z-shaped hardcover bookbinding process.
